I have heard that there was a really good video on the jumbotron before the game. Long shot here, but would anyone happen to know it the video might be on the web anywhere?

To be honest w/ you, I was glad we updated the video from the previous CPB one....I loved that old video for a loooong time & didn't think I would enjoy an updated one very much, but I REALLY LIKE the new one!
Then, when the video ends & the jumbo-tron switches to the tunnel & CNS/team emerge and he gives his last words of wisdom, for some reason, that gets me JACKED UP!!
Guess I'm a sucker for anything BAMA! :biggrin2:

I think it was a good decision to move the video rather than getting rid of it.

I agree there....not showing it at all would have probably caused a bit of an uproar. Plus, I like seeing that video too. Hearing CPB just automatically makes you feel like we're going to win!

I really like the part where the players can touch the Coach Bryant plaque. I know Coach would not have suggested that but it is a tribute to what he was and what he has done for Bama Football. When you see them open the doors and the team comes walking out, that is neat. I liked the old video but this one has its enduring qualities also.

So here's an idea i wanted to throw out about the whole Saban leading the team down the tunnel. What if the crowd was given enough time to start the ALA-BAMA cheer before the doors open and the team walks the tunnel to take the field. Almost like the crowd is beckoning the gladiators to take their rightful place on the field. What do you think?

I kinda like it! Too bad somebody didn't think of this before this season. Something tells me the crowd won't be in a HUGE FRENZY next weekend, so it will have to wait till next year....maybe we could debut it against AUbarn....:BigA:

I don't know why we don't do the ALA-BAMA more during the games. Other than after big plays it is definetly the loudest it gets in BDS. We did it a few times agaisnt Uthug when we were on defense and it caused Ainge to take a time out. BDS was ROCKIN!

"ALA-BAMA" is up there with Rammer Jammer for me.
