It gets to a point where it is hard to ignore his record and what he's done everywhere he's gone. I'm sure the thought process is "If he can do what he's done at these other schools with a lot less talent, just imagine what he can do at Bama with stockpiles of it."
Unfortunately, they aren't a destination job and they have to know that by now.

Meh, I don't. They hired a really good staff. Jedd Fisch from Arizona, Steve Belichick at DC, and Brennan Carroll at OC. Not sure they could do much better than that.
It makes about as much sense as Ole Miss at #6.
I wish no one would put rankings out until we see teams play. Even though they aren't "official" rankings, they still have a subconscious impact on how the committee views the teams when they play.
These polls don't matter and they haven't for a decade now.
I think that the polls are a great thing as it gets is off topics such as how good Milroe is or should we bring back white helmets...
