I am definitely hurt mentally as well...Milroe may be hurt physically and mentally and the mental he brought with him.

It used to be that the fans' favorite player was the backup QB...now it's the QB who transferred. We have got to let Holstein go. What he is doing at Pitt wouldn't cut it here. He was horrible vs Cal for example. I think he'll grow into a good player but he wasn't ready to be the starting QB at Alabama.
I'm tired boss...You may be right. I view it differently from an emotional standpoint. If Milroe returns - what then!
It certainly won't be the coaches. They have no power now.I think you know the answer, no one, because no one can stop it. So until rules are put in place this type of stuff can take place within a team and it is disgusting.
or we can look at it and see that wisky doesn't have a great track record. The only other decent team they have played put over 300 yards on them in the air, and we didn't cross the 200 mark, so maybe that is not a good barometer at all.I still think Milroe is maybe hurt. He had been playing really well vs Wisconsin, UGA and Vandy. Completion % of 71, 82, & 75 in those 3 games while throwing for 300 yards in 2 of those games to go along with 6 passing TD and only 2 ints (one of which was quite fluky)
Then suddenly vs South Carolina and Tennessee he is under 70% in both games 4 total INTs and just outright looked bad. Some of that can be attributed to the defenses rushing the passer well but some of it cannot.
Idk. Maybe he just fell apart but his shoulder was clearly bothering him early in the South Carolina game after one of the hits he took.
DeBoer answered that question today in a press conference and says there's no injuries to him.Milroe may be hurt physically and mentally and the mental he brought with him.
We've been round and round about whether the mutiny in Tampa actually happened, but that's basically irrelevant now, whether it happened or not. It’s 2023 all over again. Saban benched Milroe, and the OL had a mutiny.
and others - Jam, Justice, Odom, Law, Prentice, Henderson, or any other skill player hoping that next year is the year they get decent film and stats to impress the NFL.If JM returns, I expect TS and DL to both hit the portal...and I wouldn't blame them.
Deal with that now rather than later.I think the fear is that the OL doesn't play as well for the QB they don't want, not that the skill players will loaf.
I agree in principle. But remember, not even Nick Saban could do anything to stop this nonsense. He retired because of it.Deal with that now rather than later.
If things are this out of control, then DeBoer needs to lay down the hammer in the locker room and with the fanbase.
He's getting paid millions of dollars a year to lead the team, not take marching orders from 20 year olds and bagmen.
Gutsy call. But I don't think CKD is that kind of sheriff. We've been round and round about whether the mutiny in Tampa actually happened, but that's basically irrelevant now, whether it happened or not.
New head coach, new staff, new system.
Make the change and tell everyone else to get on board or get out...including anyone with NIL influence who may be pushing buttons behind the scene.
Simpson will either thrive and shut everyone up, or we'll be mired in mediocrity if he doesn't.
Either way, it's time to make a change and see what becomes of it.
Saban was near the end of the road anyways, so I didn't expect him to change the way he handled things.I agree in principle. But remember, not even Nick Saban could do anything to stop this nonsense. He retired because of it.
That's some cherry picking off his 1st truly bad game.We have got to let Holstein go. What he is doing at Pitt wouldn't cut it here. He was horrible vs Cal for example. I think he'll grow into a good player but he wasn't ready to be the starting QB at Alabama.
Then maybe he ain't man enough to be sheriff of T-Town.
This response is totally hypothetical because it will never happen but...Then maybe he ain't man enough to be sheriff of T-Town.
No one is saying Milroe is Tom Brady and I have said it may be time to make a change. But he WAS playing well this year. And sure you can discount every good play he's ever made if you want but he still had to make those plays.or we can look at it and see that wisky doesn't have a great track record. The only other decent team they have played put over 300 yards on them in the air, and we didn't cross the 200 mark, so maybe that is not a good barometer at all.
UGA we had two weeks to script things out and that worked for the first 3-4 drives, then stalled out once UGA diagnosed it. Vandy doesn't have a single secondary player that could start for us, USCe or TN and they still forced a lot of confusion in the backfield. That 'fluky' INT against them was a sign of things to come because that throw was late and not where it needed to be and that's what we have continued to see.
Guys we’ve beat this horse to death two seasons in a row now. The simple truth is Jalen Milroe is a great athlete and a below average quarterback. He has flashes of brilliance but the truth is he isn’t good enough to consistently play the position. I like the kid, tons of heart, still doesn’t make him a good quarterback.Short: Milroe isn’t a great quarterback for KD’s offense or any offense that requires quarterbacks reading pre and post snaps.

Absolutely they would call for his head! Some fans are crazy. This response is totally hypothetical because it will never happen but...
What if CKD came out and said, "this is the situation and this is what I'm doing to fix it." Then he cleaned house and we went 3-9 the following year. Would the fans support him or call for his head?
