Questions about Milroe.

How's the snapping? Is it true that McLaughlin hasn't really had any snapping issues at Ohio State? I haven't really gotten to see them play much this year.
He has not. I asked my Ohio State friend that recently and he was like, “nope, love that guy, can’t believe you guys broke him”

So secrant visitors how much do we put stock in what crimsonboz says? He mentions 6 players as a cancer to the locker room and said the mutiny in the USF game was 100 percent real. That booker is a milroe or nothing guy. I’ve seen his scrimmage post and they line up well with others but other than that I dont know much about him.

If this is indeed true....and my instincts say it is accurate....then we have bigger problems than wins and losses.

These players need to be sat and let them go as soon as possible. There is no place for their behavior at Bama. This is sickening to the core of my love for Bama.

Sit them all, if we lose we lose.

I’m honestly flabbergasted in how he handled it, and I was at the time. I thought for sure coming out of that game Ty would be the starter because he had played well enough for it. JessN even wrote as much in his post game recap. Then the following Monday, Milroe was named the starter and we all got gaslit into a some convoluted theory of Saban proving something to the fans.

An earlier Saban imo would have never let that ride. So aside from the tragedy of a clique of selfish players killing the greatest dynasty in college football, if that was how Saban handled it it is probably good that he retired because the future would have been downhill, Bobby Bowden style.
Yeah, I thought he mishandled it

If the choice is be held hostage by a group of 6 players and hopefully lose only one more game….or ignore their demands , play the backups and lose three more games…..count me for the latter. I’d honestly have an easier time rooting for that 7-5 bunch than the 9-3 Milroe gang.

can't read it, but let me guess, one of the loudest voices is Booker?

Booker was on the Next Round show this morning....wearing his Lank shirt. He was asked about it and said he didn't even know he was wearing it, he just pulled a shirt out of the drawer.

He said the same stuff Milroe has said....refocusing, looking inward, yada yada.....

Booker is a legit NFL guard. He needs to wise up because his draft stock is dropping with every Alabama loss.

There's a reason Seth had such bad body language after that last play vs Michigan. You could tell something wasn't right....and it was beyond just snaps.
Also explains why he was so happy to transfer. I didn’t buy the story that he couldn’t take the heat over the snaps. I was honestly sorry to see him go.

Then those players should be benched........I wouldn't have thought Haynes would be one of them. I'd start getting those behind them ready and give them an ultimatum............rebel and you are on the bench
I agree, and I would not have expected Hanes either. But, if you look at his play, he has regressed this year. Based off of his performance this year, I can see him being one of the problems. Maybe we should just give his reps to Young? That guy is talented too.

I certainly would........some who wants to play would play

This stuff with the 6 is absolutely sickening. Not surprising, but absolutely sickening. I don't even want to watch the games anymore until the group is gone. DeBoer isn't going to sit them.....if he does they'll throw their weight around with the players and cause more problems. They know this....he knows this.

He's going to lose recruits over this as well. He has to nip this now.

I tried watching The Bama Standard again tonight after not for a while....Ragland was on harping on about how fans want to sit Milroe for a bad game or when things go bad. I checked out immediately....they are all still solidly in the Milroe camp.

I think if it gets to a certain point he may be forced to.............especially if there's talk about the "little things" and going back to them per that article...........otherwise he will lose recruits as well if the season tanks

I have 0 insight, but if these reports are even marginally true I don’t envy CKD. These scenarios are not limited to football or even sports. If you develop a few rotten apples in any organization, even high-performing ones, and you let them flout the rules and standards, the entire structure will collapse. It does not matter if it is a sports team, a manufacturing business, a military unit, a band, a professional practice, a faculty, whatever.

But getting rid of the rotten ones is typically difficult, painful, damaging in the short term, expensive, time-consuing, etc. And, sadly, you almost always lose a few folks you wanted and hoped to keep. They typically end up as competitors.…

Perhaps I should not have been so judgmental with regard to some who departed.
