Kyriq McDonald and Scott Meyer entering the Transfer Portal seems to open up some wiggle room right on time.

I know of McDonald but who is Meyer? I don' recall him so wondering if he is on scholarship.

With the TRANSFER PORTAL today, schools should get an extra scholarship for every player that transfers . If 3 kids transfer , you should get 28 schollies instead of only 25. If a kid enters the portal too late for a school to replace in this years class, you should still get that scholarship back and back count it next year! I think I should write the NCAA.

If we can bring in three or four more of these guys it will really be a testament to the program and CNS, considering how many position coaches we have gone through not only in this hiring cycle, but since these kids have been recruited. Say we saw them in the summer after their sophomore year, they will have been in contact with two or three primary recruiters during that time and still decided on Alabama. Pretty impressive work by Coach Saban and the Alabama program to sign these guys.

Nice thought but unfortunately this could cause lower performing current players to be nudged toward the door in order to get a shot at a better recruit.

I was curious as to why we would offer a scholarship to a LS with Fletcher already on scholarship and having a couple of years left of eligibility.

It is quiet because it is a dead period until tomorrow and we have signed 85% of our class already and only a few key targets are left. It will be more lively tomorrow.
