Scott Cochran is Leaving for Georgia

I’m sure every coach sends the S&C for all the situations listed in that article BECAUSE HE HAS UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THE PLAYERS.

I do agree that this is a very important hire, but it’s way too early to determine if it’s been his most important hire to date.

I like CSC, but it was probably time for him to move on. He may have been the loudest and most vocal Strength/Conditioning coach in the nation, but I’m not sold he was the best. With the new sports science facilities coming, Bama maybe better served moving in a new direction. I trust Coach Saban to get the best for the University.

I'm sure Saban already has the man in mind...……………...he will get a good one, and life will continue on

Guys, don't feed the trolls.

I once fell for the schtick from a notable Georgia guest. I thought he was rehabilitated into Georgia's answer to AuDub. I was impossibly, naively, wrong.

While he can occasionally dangle a reasonable position out there, it's just bait. Like many fans of other SEC teams, he hates us more than he loves his own team.

Learn from my mistakes and let him listen to the echo of his own keyboard. It's the only sound from this board he doesn't like.

i get the desire for job change. But I have to think the particular choice of employer will lead to some permanent consequences.
I hope he and kirby limp off the field together next year after being slapped around. Goodbye to Scott C. You’ve made a lot of $ off of this University.

I'm sure Cochran is a fine S&C coach or Saban wouldn't have had him here. But, he's as "renowned" as he is because he was at ALABAMA!

It's a short-term good PR move for Smart, but it's hardly going to be a game-changer for UGA.

Just read that Jeff Allen is now the longest-tenured member of Saban's staff. If we had to lose a long-tenured staffer, I'm glad it wasn't him.
