by Jess Nicholas, TideFans.com Editor-In-Chief

Florida freshman wide receiver Eugene Wilson III is expected to make his return to the field for UF's 12 p.m. kickoff Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky against the undefeated Wildcats, as the Tampa native was listed as a starter on UF's depth chart, released Wednesday afternoon during head coach Billy Napier's press conference.

Prior to suffering an injury, which prevented him from practicing throughout last week, in addition to competing in the team's 22-7 victory at Ben HIll Griffin Stadium over the Charlotte 49ers, Wilson was extremely productive for the Gators in the early going of their matchup against the then-No. 11-ranked Tennessee Volunteers, hauling in six passes on the team's opening drive for 44 yards.

“Tre, we all know, you all were at practice and training camp. Our players know, our DBs know, the guy’s a unique player," Napier said Wednesday of Wilson. "He has unique acceleration. He has unique instincts, vision, ball skills, hand selection, run after catch, it’s not too big for him. It’s always good when he’s in there.”
