Try ESPN's website. If you are with Verizon they have services like this.Anyone know of a free service that will send score updates to my cell phone via SMS?
You can login to your ESPN Alerts account and enable and disable them as needed. I had to do that quite a lot last year because, yeah, they did get annoying if I was watching the game :tongue:The ESPN text alerts are awesome when you can't see the game. But if you're watching the game they can be kind of annoying....

For all of you Blackberry users, ScoreMobile is a free app that is incredible. It will let you keep track of top 25, a particular conference, a particular team, or a particular game. However, for strictly SMS text, I agree with the posters who use ESPN's service. It will let you customize to receive each score, each quarter, or each game.Anyone know of a free service that will send score updates to my cell phone via SMS?

Blackberry also has an app called Viigo....it is pretty goodI use scoremobile too, but I don't like it very much. Its the only thing I can find so I guess it will have to do. I really wish I could still use the ESPN MVP with my BB but oh well.
