Beaver still dealing. Ground out to 3rd for the first out. Then a single up the middle. Followed by a hit batter. (barely clipped her). Beaver now at 153 pitches. Ground ball to SS, get the out at second, 2 down. Runners on 1st and 3rd. Another HBP, bases loaded, 2 down. Ground ball to 3rd for out #3. Beaver dodges another bullet. She's over 160 pitches now. Someone help her out!!

At over 160 pitches, I just don’t see how you can send Beav back to the circle and sleep well tonight. Gotta bring in Jaala Torrence and hope she is on.

Would love to be a fly on the wall at the hotel tonight regarding the conversation about who you put in the circle tomorrow.
I really think you could use a committee of Jaala Torrence Alex Salter and Alea Johnson- the three forgotten pitchers.
Briski went 4? Innings today
so I guess she’s available but i just don’t see how Beav would be available after 165 pitches and 66 on Friday

Easily the most excited I’ve been for an upcoming SB game all year. RTR

Beaver has dominated Tennessee this year. I feel bad for her because if she had a lineup behind her then we maybe talking about a best pitcher in the nation candidate. She is one of those who can pitch inside and frustrate great hitters.

But alas what’s new at Alabama. Great pitching but horrible hitting. I hope we win today but if we don’t you still have to consider Beaver’s performance in the Superd one of the best by an Alabama pitcher.

Great point- after sleeping on it, wouldn’t be surprised if we DO see Beaver today. Lose, and her college career is over, so if there is a spot where we really need her, I could see Murph putting her in there. I know SB is different than baseball, but I can’t imagine what her arm, shoulder feel like.

Technically its a lighting dely. After a lighting strike within 8 miles of the stadium. The game is delayed 30 minutes. so you could go 29 minutes without a strike and then one comes. Another 30 minute delay.

Okay, we're back. Briski in the circle. Got a K, then pop out. 2 down. And...another K. Briski gets Tennessee 1-2-3 in the bottom of the first. BAMA up 4-0.

I missed the top of the first because I was at my granddaughters first birthday party and my son-in-law couldn't find the clicker to put it on their other TV. They were all watch LSU in the SEC Tourney Championship game. They need to better prioritize what they watch.
