Great stuff Krymson- we need Briski to pitch like she did in that epic LSU tourney game. But can’t expect UcheaT to make mistakes like they did today. Gotta score 4-5 runs at least!

You said it. Tennessee was really shaky early on, and made some goofs that helped us get a couple of runs. Just look at the first inning. White had a legitimate single to left, but the left fielder misplays it into a triple. White then scored on a wild pitch. This game was ours to take today, but we couldn't do it.

Tide down 2-1 through 3.5
Briski has pitched well but gave up a dinger in the top of the 4th as Viles took the lead.
We did a nice job of manufacturing a run in bottom of the first, but feels like we can’t afford to get down any further to have a chance.

Brutal-1st and 2nd, no outs for Bama in the bottom of the 8th but 2 SOs and a groundout to end the inning.
Going to the 9th!!!

Man, that was a pitiful bottom of the 8th. First and second, no outs. First we can't get a bunt down, then K. Then a K looking at 3 good pitches to hit, then a weak ground out. Why do our hitters hate our pitchers so much!!! Still tied at 2, but we blew a BIG chance to win it there.

BAMA escapes again the top of the ninth. Tennessee gets a runner to 3rd with 2 outs, but Beaver gets the fly out to end the inning. I hope we can do something to help our pitchers out. They have thrown great in this super, but we have not given them much help. We should have won yesterday's game, and I hope we can pull this one out. SOMEBODY GET A HIT!!!

Seems like the only way we can get on base is to get hit by a pitch. We've had a couple of those but still can't do anything with it. Ground out, pop out, strike out to show for the inning. Still 2-2, going to the 10th.

Beaver is still dealing it. Gets them 1-2-3 in the top of the 10th. We have to take advantage of this and score 1 run.

Man, we have to be leading the nation in routine grounds by our offense. Another three of them to go down quietly in the bottom of the 10th. Still 2-2. How long can Beaver hold out?

Beaver gets into a tiny bit of trouble, but gets the pop out to end it. Come on BAMA, make something happen!!

Two ground outs and a K, swinging at 2 balls not even near the strike zone. Burden back on Beaver. Let's see if she can keep dealing. Going to the 12th inning.

P.S. we haven't hit a ball out of the infield since the 4th inning.

Win or lose today, I’ll always remember The Beav as giving her all for Alabama. It’s been said here all season, but we’d have not even gotten an NCAA bid without her. I appreciate the work Murph did to go and get her. I’ll admit, I heard this past offseason, “rising Sr from Central ARK” and wasn’t expecting a lot. I was wrong as she’d probably be about 25-3 with even average run support.
I’m just afraid her arm is about to fall off.

Beaver is still dealing. Hits one batter but gets the others out. Had to throw a few extra pitches because we misplayed a routing pop up in foul ground behind 1st base. We have got to help her out.

Valentine hits one off the wall in right center, (about 2 feet from going out), Tennessee plays the bounce right and throws her out by 10 feet trying to take second. Poor base running if you ask me, especially with the ball in front of you.

I just have a bad feeling this might end the same way.

Valentine's out is followed by a K, then White beats out an infield hit. White steals second. We need a base hit now! Instead, Murphy has White try to steal third, and she's out. Total stupidity. You've gotten your fastest runner in scoring position and you try that steal. Especially with a left handed batter at the plate so the catcher has a clear shot. Just dumb!!!

Top of 13th now, Beaver up to 129 pitches so far. Gets a lead off K. Followed by a walk. Hit back to the pitcher, out at second, 2 down. Walks Malloy, then gets a fly out. Inning over. Somebody score me a run!!!

Two ground outs to the pitcher, then Johnson HBP. Then Giles walks on 4 pitches. We need a hit! But no, Dowling strikes out swinging at not one, but two balls in the dirt. I just don't know what our ladies are seeing up there, because those pitches were never even remotely in the strike zone. On to the 14th.
