Science: Space - the final frontier (Misc.)

After its recent successful moon landing, India's space agency launched a rocket to study the sun. It's the country's first such mission, which aims to study solar winds that can cause disturbance on earth commonly seen as auroras.

The neutron star PSR J1748-2446 rotates 716 times every second, so its equator moves at about 25% the speed of light. It is also 50 trillion times the density of lead and has a magnetic field a trillion times stronger than the Sun’s.

A little breezy out - you can see the camera wobbling a bit.

Watch live views as SpaceX prepares for rocket launches from Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center. Meanwhile at Starbase in Texas, SpaceX is working on preparations for the next Starship test flight.

I have been watching some YouTube videos on the JWT and what its discoveries mean to the fundamental teachings of physics and astronomy. Short summary: every thing we know about our beginnings and development is now being called into question. Scientists have admitted that their theories are just that -- they really have limited knowledge as much of what they are finding runs counter to the Big Bang and other theories/assumptions.
