I agree. I also tend to just listen to what Coach Saban says. He stated that there was more of a gap between the backup and third stringer last year than between Tua and the backup. Of course, the backup was Mac and the third stringer was Lia. Now, Lia may have made up a lot of that ground since then, but Mac was also able to get valuable experience at the end of the year, and he played very well other than the two pick-sixes at AU.

Agree on B. Robinson...he really didn't take advantage of the opportunity last year like many thought he would. I think his '18 success was getting into blowout games when the defense had already given up.

I agree with you. I really thought B. Rob would blossom and be a true 1B last year. He seemed to be missing a gear, and his vision to hit the hole didn't seem the same, so you may be right about the level of competition.

Hopefully they will resume late March or early April. If it's actually postponed it would really hurt, but they say
"Alabama on Thursday moved its pro day from March 24 to April 9, while prohibiting campus visits from NFL scouts until March 30, according to ESPN" so there may be some hope of spring practice..

Maybe NCAA might even allow some extra practices this summer, if things calm down. But imagining the NCAA to have common sense is futile.

Giles Amos , one of our tight ends, is in transfer portal now as a grad transfer. He was a former walk on but got a scholarship last summer. I wish him well but had hoped he’d stay. I understand due to numbers a few more will be in the portal soon.

I could not find a transfer portal thread on the last few pages so just put it on this thread. RTR

Still good for us to keep our sense of humor. We healthcare workers keep a healthy dark sense of humor. When my dad died my best friend kept me on my toes with an occasional laugh and I still appreciate that so much!
