i'm huntsville, otherwise i'd walk down the street and see for myself... but i'm pretty sure it's just nearly complete. not like this: Bryant denny image by gobama1326 on Photobucket

at first, i thought i missed some special event. but i can kinda tell by the portion of the expansion wing, it looks photoshopped. just posting for clarification, i guess.

oh and my question is, "so how's it coming along?"

It appears the person took the North Endzone and put it on the South one. That is not how it is going to look.

That's a relatively old photoshop someone did when talk started about closing in the south endzone. Don't know the source but I remember seeing it a few years ago.

BamaNation,

Thanks for the WebCam.. I wish I was there.. Need some ribs/beer/ and ball... Missing T-town!!

Roll Tide from the Big 10 + 2

Sad to say that link is no longer being updated. The shot in that was taken at least a week ago. The original link posted on rolltide.com/bryantdenny has been removed. I guess the finishing touches are being done and the camera is no longer needed...at least that was my take on it when I noticed the webcam link was providing the same shot for a couple days in a row.

I was in T-town on Friday (serving on the parent panel for orientation) and went by the stadium. It looks fabulous, the upper deck is completely in place, and the front facade is completed. I'm guessing the majority of the remaining work is the build out of the inside. There is still one of the tall cranes in place but I'm not smart enough to know what heavy lifting is yet to be done. Looks for certain that everything will be done well before the first game. I apologize for not taking a camera.

I'm going to be in TTown and BHM next month. I am going to have to stop by to check it out, not to mention eat at some of my favorite places.....

Nice! Is 101,000 going to be the exact capacity? I guess that puts us around 5th or 6th for largest in the nation and 2nd behind UT in the SEC

Correction...We will have the largest stadium in the SEC. UT's capacity is actually about to decline because they are taking out seats to add more sky boxes.

Although most reports have the stadium at 101,000 even that's very, very unlikely. The official capacity knowing Bama will be an odd number. Going from 92,138 to 101,000 even would obviously mean adding 8862 seats exactly. Something tells me we'll be a bit over 101,000. The original rendering had our official capacity at 102,500. Now, I'm fairly certain that's not accurate but I believe it will be somewhere just over 101,000.

They don't know the official capacity yet. Due to the fact of adding 30 seats here, taking 5 out there, adding another 40 somewhere else. I think Thad Turnipseed talks about it in on of the videos.
