I was finally able to listen to an audio recording of Coach Saban's introductory press conference. What a breath of fresh air! The man has a plan and knows exactly what he wants to do with the program. I don't believe we could be in better hands.
Right at the start he called out every person associated with the program and demanded that they begin believing in and working for total dominance. I believe the phrase he used was "taking ownership." He was very specific that this applied not only to players, coaches, and administrators, but also to fans. I tell you, that gets me fired up.
I'm going to start following Coach Saban's instructions right now. The Navy currently has me stationed in Jacksonville, FL, and as per the Coach, I am officially claiming ownership of the city of Jacksonville for the University of Alabama. I will remain here to help keep things in order until Coach Saban and the team show up to make everything official on September 29th.
