***TCU/Boise State Game Thread***

Yeah, I think the human polls would have tried to put TCU at #2 if Texas fell against Nebraska. I don't know if that would have helped them overcome Cincy's gains in the computers though. TCU or Cincy would have probably been in Pasdena without 1 restored second.
 
TCU- I think they may be the better team of the two. I expect Boise to come in to that game with a chip on the shoulder though, because they feel like they haven't been given enough credit.
We'll see.
 
I can't pull for any team with a blue field. Go Horny Frogs! What's the spread?
 
I'll pull for Boise St.

Kind of tired of hearing about TCU this and TCU that. I really think the Longhorns could pretty much name their score on those guys despite the media claims of TCU's greatness..

Plus, I still think Coach Patterson isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
 
I'm interested pretty much *only* because it's a college football game. No real emotional commitment. A very low-pressure game for me.

My prediction is TCU. No real emotional commitment, other than it'd be nice to shut up Michael Wilbon via a Boise W.

TCU is a 7.5 point favorite. I like TCU. I love their brand of football. Reminds me the most of us of any team in the country. So I'm pulling for them. For the record though, I don't think they're a TD better than Boise
 
My Battalion Commander is a TCU alum/fan....he just came to us from being the ROTC commander at TCU for a couple of years.....he flew out to watch the game......so I guess I will root for them though he is like every other mid-major fan (thinks they deserve more than they have earned).

I have to say though, TCU was NOT the team I wanted UA playing in the NC game.....they would be motivated to prove something. I believe they are a pretty decent team that plays pretty good defense and has a very servicable offense.:BigA:
 
I am getting soooo tooootally sick of seeing blue and orange colors on a team's uniform. Maybe it's just the orange...such a grotesque color. Is there something wrong with me? There seems to be lots of folks that like orange but I can't figure out why.
 
Nice Int. I am gonna pull for Boise St since they are the underdog. I'm tired of hearing about how good TCU is.
