Wednesday was the 48th anniversary of the Bama/UT double overtime classic in Coleman. The Ernie and Bernie show vs Douglas, Dunn, Murray, et al. Greg McElveen stepped up in the 2nd OT (just about all starters for both teams had fouled out) to get the win for Bama.

the funding problem is real b/c GB is having to manage big $ boosters to fund football things and NIL things along with all of the academic building that has been going on at the same time. Gonna have to make a broader appeal to some of the newer grads that aren't the same ones as have been emptying their pockets throughout the last 25 years. BUT there should be no reason the BOT shouldn't fund a bond issue for a new arena. I trust Byrne to make it happen and I pray it's not too late when it does.
