just a kind reminder. they would not be doing this without an eager audience begging for more.

fifywhite grievance. it is all the republicans have to offer, and it must be continually stoked. THIS week, it will be something different.
In order to preserve the 1st Amendment we must first destroy it.fify

He's an idiot, of course, but this is an issue which needs adjudicating...whoever is silencing these morons isn't doing a very good job, because i keep seeing their idiocy
agreed. i should have put that in blueHe's an idiot, of course, but this is an issue which needs adjudicating...
The Texas Bill or Facebook’s policy? He's an idiot, of course, but this is an issue which needs adjudicating...
Texas' attempt to dictate company policy to a private company. If Texas can dictate to Twitter or Facebook what they must allow, then the mirror image is that they can equally dictate to social media what they may not allow. The "Fairness Doctrine" is gone and it was never part of the constitution, anyway. Abbot is desperate right now. He badly needs something in the way of a "win" in most Texan's eyes...The Texas Bill or Facebook’s policy?
When the 100% Texas opening goes sideways. he'll blame it on people crossing the border.Texas' attempt to dictate company policy to a private company. Biden's "Neanderthal thinking" remark seems to have touched a nerve with Abbot. His thinking seems to along the lines of "if Texans are miffed over the power outage and want to blame me, I'll just distract them by trying to get more Texans sick. That'll show 'em. They are just too dumb to realize what I'm doing."Texas' attempt to dictate company policy to a private company. I remember Ann Richards on King of the Hill and it was hilarious.Biden's "Neanderthal thinking" remark seems to have touched a nerve with Abbot. My guess is Beto could beat him now in a straight up election for Governor. Beto is not my favorite but he would be a serious upgrade.
I've always thought Ann Richards was underappreciated. Her remark about W being born with a silver foot in his mouth was priceless...I can only imagine what she would have to say today about the golden statue/idol of Trump they rolled out at that recent conservative convention.
i started to remind you of the Gov. in Florida, don’t leave him out. But then I seem to remember a recently elected GOP Gov out west, I forget which state, that actually objected to a reporter’s question by body slamming him a few years ago.I remember Ann Richards on King of the Hill and it was hilarious.
I have a feeling that both Abbot and Kemp are going to have strong democratic challengers in the next election.
Desantos might be untouchable at this point. Gillum might’ve killed his own movement with the controversy.i started to remind you of the Gov. in Florida, don’t leave him out. I remember reading On Beyond Zebra as a kid (made-up letters beyond Z with weird-looking animals to go with them). I don't remember anything offensive, but I was too young to know better, which is the problem with children reading them. Until years later, I didn't even notice that there weren't any black kids in our public school in Florida in the '60s.Other than Mulberry Street, I had never heard of any of them.
I lived in Texas then. Part of the reason she was elected in 1990 was that the Republicans nominated Clayton Williams who ran as (to coin a phrase) the Neanderthal candidate.Biden's "Neanderthal thinking" remark seems to have touched a nerve with Abbot. Had Clayton just left the country during the campaign he might have won. A real goofball.I lived in Texas then. Part of the reason she was elected in 1990 was that the Republicans nominated Clayton Williams who ran as (to coin a phrase) the Neanderthal candidate.
I don't think I've seen a bigger bunch of goofballs as governor as we have in the South right now...Had Clayton just left the country during the campaign he might have won. A real goofball.
Ma Ferguson and Pappy O’Daniel would probably lead the goofball list from here.I don't think I've seen a bigger bunch of goofballs as governor as we have in the South right now...
