Just saw Belfast. Apparently, it’s semi-autobiographical of director Kenneth Branagh. Well done. Only nit I‘d pick with it is that the people and the sets are a bit too clean, good-looking, and sanforized.

Nothing to do with new movies, but I hope some of y'all will watch these:

My son is in Georgia (Atlanta area) working on a TV show and two movies.

The TV show is "Legacies", he's working on the season finale on Netflix.

He's also apparently going to be in "The Waltons" and "Road Trip."
He's been booked to film all 12 days of "The Waltons."

One is filming in Conyers, one in Covington, and "Road Trip" in Atlanta proper.
He's gone until May 20.

=================

(Side note: today my hostess learned I was on "60 Minutes" and wanted to see it. I showed her. And then she asked me...did I remember when Kennedy was assassinated? I told her, "I thought Ted Kennedy died from a brain tumor").

Without being mean, she's 65, and I think she's got some signs of dementia. (How in the world do you say that to a complete stranger from whom you're renting?)

Back to the movies!!!!

Just saw the new Top Gun movie. Pretty good movie. My wife wanted to see it at the 4D theater in Atlanta. Save your money and just watch it at a regular theater.

We had a group of 6 trying to watch together. Our theater in PCB has online seat specific tickets and we couldn’t get into an IMAX showing all weekend. The regular screen was awesome enough.
I’ve been waiting on that for 2 years
