Nease rallies for win at New Smyrna
For two and a half quarters Friday night, the entire Nease offense ran through quarterback Tim Tebow, but it didn't look like him until he finally started running.

When he did take off with the ball, Tebow carried Nease out of a 17-10 halftime deficit and into the third round of the Class 4A playoffs.

The senior ran for 103 yards and two critical touchdowns as Nease held off New Smyrna Beach 24-17.

"We just kept fighting and were able to turn it around in the second half," Tebow said.

Tebow Documentary?

I've know he is announcing his commitment on Dec. 14. Many have said this is due to a recruiting documentary ESPN is doing on Tebow. Is this show on now? What is the name of the show and when will it be on?

Usually I know this kind of thing, but I'm yet to hear the details. Thanks for the help.
 
I think the documentary airs on December 14th, then after the show Tebow will make his announcement. It's not a series, it will be a one-time thing on December 14th.

You would think that he is the second coming of Y.A. Title. What are the odds that he is "bust."
 
The thing about Tebow is that he may or may not be a bust, but if he signs it will help 3 or 4 others to choose Bama.. I honestly believe if he doesnt sign Bama gets a top 10 to top 15 class but if he does sign, then we could be looking at top 5..

Good point. Bust, or not, I'd take a "chance" on him!
 
I think Tebow will have coattails. Several other high profile players have said they want to play with him. He will take them wherever he chooses to go...
 
things are looking better for florida and their chances of getting tebow. chris leak will be a senior next year. portis will be tebow's only competion after leak is gone, because floria's current 3rd team qb is changing postions in the spring. so he would be no less than 3rd team qb (same at ua if he came here). another interesting point about florida is that they had a 4 star qb commit decommit a couple weeks back and commit to texas (snead). so that will help out there chances of getting him over us. i still we get him though.

Tim Tebow has gone where no Florida high school quarterback has ever gone with 9,371 career passing yards.

Now he's taking Nease somewhere it's never gone: to the state semifinals.

Tebow threw for 380 yards Friday as the Panthers beat visiting Eastside 57-21 to earn a spot in the Class 4A semifinals. Nease will be the host school against Pace (13-0), which defeated Lynn Haven Mosley 31-28.

That Pace Patriots team is really something. I have a friend that lives in Pace and she keeps me abreast of their dream season. They don't have any Bama prospects but they do have a great HS football team.

and after the way the Gators are manhandling FSU I think will put them ahead in the battle for him.
You know, it wasn't the qback position that put us down in the last two games, but the oline did us in. It did make Brodie look bad, but Brett Farve wouldn't look any better when you don't have time to lool up after taking the snap!
 
do you guys think this big florida win over rival fsu hurts our chances or do you think he has already made his decision and is just enjoying a free football game. dont let us down tebow!
 
Im sure he was impressed by the Gators play (which was magnified immensly by FSU's ability to do NOTHING). I also think that he and his family are looking at what would be the best for his future.. If you watched that stupid offense, the only time they made a play is when they did something conventional.. It going to be hard to get him away from UF but if Bama does, you can credit it to Mike Shula and CO making him feel comfortable and at "home" on his visits here.. Ive also noticed a lot of Alabama's recruits mentioning that they want to go somewhere with a strong Fellow Ship of Christian Athletes program, which tells me they are recruiting character a long with talent.. We will see in two weeks what will happen and it should be a fun and interesting journey..
 
I heard that Tebow was/is home schooled and that he comes from a strong Christian family. If so, I can see how Shula might be a strong magnet for him.
 
I can't imagine why any sane QB would volunteer to come get maimed behind our excuse for an OL. Well, I can understand why Brodie would, since he grew up bleeding Crimson, but I couldn't figure why some kid from St. Augustine would.
