Today's Game

I am a little stunned by the overall tone of this thread...

This just in - Alabama won the game.

Yeah, I think everyone knows that by now.

400+ yds of total offense and held the ball for almost the entire what 3rd quarter???, and we can only get 13 pts against a team from a conference that we openly consider "weaker" than us.

I think the "tone" is saying that it was good enough today and the win will be well enjoyed and celebrated. But like when folks were pointing out the problems in the offense line while were still winning games and saying that it's going to haunt us.....................LSU & Auburn. Same concept

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that having problems scoring in the red zone is a sign of a week, young or suspect OL...I don't see why anyone is surprised or disappointed...it is what it is, we have to get better on the O-line and we will because we're recruiting....simple as that.

I thought the line did a better job today than in the past 3 games. I saw some plays (at least 4-6 that I can recall) where either the back missed the hole or the timing was off. I saw a few times where the back did not get to the hole quick enough or missed it completely. Some of that is timing and not playing for so long. But I thought the O line did better. Those kinds of little things can make things look worse than they were.

The defense played superb and actually did not deserve to have it come down to the last second FG. But, you take a win and build on it

Just my opinion and I am not trying to start anything because I am more than happy with today's effort and results. What a great way to go into the off-season. I feel a whole lot better than I did driving home from Nashville last year. Congrats to all the seniors and a BIG THANKS for what you have done and endured the last 5 years.

I don't understand some of you...

The inept offense controlled the clock and prevented our depleted defensive backfield from getting ran to death. The O-line wasn't great but they got the job done. The receiver's stepped up and actually caught some balls(even without Protho and Hall). Darby ran like he always does (hard) and we outscored the other team. Now I didn't understand the last couple of minutes and not trying to get a little closer for the kick, but WE WON! Congratulations to the coaches and players. ROLL TIDE!

After what Auburn did to our team just over a month ago, I'll take this win and enjoy it for the rest of the offseason. I don't care if we gained 600 yards of total offense and scored 50 points, or gained 100 yards and scored just 3 points. I'm just proud to see the effort that was put forth to win this ballgame; from the game planning right down to the individual efforts on the field. We were not man handled and pushed around. We shutdown the nations top offense and controlled the ball long enough to give our D plenty of rest on the sideline. The game is over, we won, and there's plenty of time to work on the O-line come spring. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy this one. It's going to be nice to go back to work and ask the Aubie's what happened against the Badgers!

Perfect day...my son's forth birthday today, spent the whole day with him. :) The Crimson Tide wins and the Barn gets mashed, yes a perfect day. The Michelob taste a little colder tonight. Cheers Bama Nation!

Roll Tide Ya'll

I just dont understand some of you? We held the #2 offense in the country to 10pts and less than 300 yds offense and you still are complaining. the last time I looked we are 10-2 and possible finish in the top ten so shut up and be happy!!!

there won't be any complaining when we win the national championship, or maybe just play for it. until then, there will be complaining.

Wrong. People will complain as long as we don't win 100-0 and allow -45 yards, have 4 Heisman winners, win the NC 100 years straight, and defeat the Super Bowl champs.

It's just a fact as long as there is SOMETHING to complain about it will be complained about.

Speaking of the Auburn game, I watched part of it, and something really puzzled me. The sportscasters were talking about how good Auburn's running game is, and how overrated Wisconsin is. Huh? So where was that great running game? And didn't Wisconsin beat Auburn 24-10?
I think Tubby must have slipped something in their koolaid.

yes, and most alabama fans have horns, feed on little children, and secretely want the team to lose just so they can complain.

I said earlier that the game was almost lost due to (certain) playcalling. That is a fact.

I also complimented the team for having a good season.

The problem is.. some of the posters here are so jaded by the past few years, they can't accept objective observations without going moronic.

Relax dudes and discuss the issues that you believe will bring improvement to the team's performance.
