M12 or M18? Looks like 18. I run through the M12s like you wouldn't believe. Of course, they're getting used in field service work so no surprise I chew through them.

I have a shear I use for PVC cutting, a drill/driver and a screw gun that all use the same battery.
My "indoor" system is Makita. My "outdoor" system is Stihl...M12 or M18? Looks like 18. I run through the M12s like you wouldn't believe. Of course, they're getting used in field service work so no surprise I chew through them.

I have that Ryobi. Bought it and several other Ryobi tools when we first bought this house and was operating on a budget. For a cheap sawzall for light project use and pruning I've absolutely gotten my money's worth out of it. It's a great saw for the money. The M18 did well in this comparison test.

My wife wanted a bookcase, the nice ones were quite expensive. I told her "I can make that nicer and better".
You are right, and I use my pressure washer in some use cases, but the blower is much more portable.Since the first post is about a leaf-blower, I'd thought I'd share this little tip on blowing leaves: don't use a blower.
You can move the same amount of leaves in a third or a fourth of the time by using a pressure washer.
Seriously. It takes a little bit of practice to get the technique down (spray in front of, not onto the leaves) but it works great.
Here's are a couple of questions about using any loud equipment: 1)at what time in the morning does proper etiquette tell us to begin with our noise pollution? 2) same question, just stopping time. You are right, and I use my pressure washer in some use cases, but the blower is much more portable.
Where we live it is 9am - dusk. Here's are a couple of questions about using any loud equipment: 1)at what time in the morning does proper etiquette tell us to begin with our noise pollution? 2) same question, just stopping time.
I hold to 8 am and 8 pm. Quiet/considerate neighbors make a good start to good neighbors.
8 to 8 is very acceptable, IMHO.Here's are a couple of questions about using any loud equipment: 1)at what time in the morning does proper etiquette tell us to begin with our noise pollution? 2) same question, just stopping time.
