Well the school would have to be dumb enough to send the offer to the kid in some sort of recordable media. Then the kid would have to be dumb enough to share that evidence and be declared ineligible.That, if true, is a major infraction. Our collective can give that to a player on our roster but another schools collective cannot offer or promise as incentive to move.
People keep posting that this is happening and yet we see no proof. If the NCAA was willing to go after FSU then maybe they will start investigating some of these claims. Right now it’s all just a bunch of yada yada rumors that keep getting repeated until people believe that they are the truth.
If these claims that players are being offered NIL by the schools or collectives prior to enrolling is true and the NCAA is going to completely ignore it then they might as well just fold up shop and start over.
