We got a CB for the Penn St safety King. Jordan Battle and Dallas Turner reaching out to him on social media to influence him. Would be a great addition.

I heard Vandy of all teams has offered VanDeMark $800K in NIL and I would think this is much more than we would pay him plus he is not going to start at guard for Bama this year with Booker and Roberts.
If you’d take into account that NFL players pay agent fees & union fees, then this is probably more than 3-7th round NFL player would make in the first 4 years.

An upgrade (imo) to one of the guys we lost this spring at safety.

DeBoer is doing well so far in recruiting/portal/whatever it is now.
Itll be Similar to what we ran with Saban but there is a tweener safety/lb role that plays a lot more which is not too different to the "money" role. Wommack will likely prefer smaller linebackers but that may just be because thats all he's really had access to.
But the 5 dbs will still be a fs ss 2 cbs and a nickle (safety or corner) not sure if we will still run sabans split field/pattern match coverages or not, thatll be up to wommack.
Very good article on rivals with info about our roster and scholarships. We are currently exactly at 85. Thus, unless we would try to grayshirt someone, we are done with transfer portal.
