He'll need it with a coach clearly mixed in federal crimes and a roster that is very questionable with players currently declared for the NBA draft.

It's sad to see a local talent like that pass up the chance to be a star on his favorite team, especially when we're primed for a big season. It's just unbelievable that he passed us up for the dumpster fire that is LSU

As expected. I think we work on Rojas. Watford never gave us serious consideration. He clearly was all about himself. He continued to make us wait in order to keep us from getting another possible recruit who he'll have to play against. I never wish a kid badly, but this recruitment was fishy from the beginning. 1st it was Memphis, then LSU, but he kept us hanging on until after signing day. That just stinks. You have to wonder what made him decide to go out of state. He and his parents must plan on moving to an estate in Baton Rouge because living in Alabama won't end well.

Guess it was a strong-a-- offer. Oh well, hope CNO and the boys make Tuscaloosa as fun for him to play in as it was for Leonard Fournette.
Well, if his goal is one year and NBA.....and he can get his palm greased at the same time....what better place to go?
Well ... wow. Can't say I'm not disappointed. Would have love to seen him been the icing on the cake as an in-state guy for the program. Looking forward to see who we now close out with.

IF Wade is not the coach and they have five new starters next year odds are instead of Watford being a lottery pick he will be in the transfer portal this time next year. Whatever. I am just glad this bit is over and we can get down to finalizing a roster because I think we are going to be good next year.

Disappointing, but I think things are changing with CNO and as CNS would say, "We'll win with you or without you."
FWIW, I think he probably thinks he's a one and done player and whatever is going to happen at LSU with Wade won't affect him. I'm not saying this because he shunned us, but I don't think he's a "one and done" so I'm afraid he'll live to regret this decision.

The kids is not being honest. I was at a restaurant after the UK game which was when his official visit was scheduled. Coach Avery walked in with a recruit, but it wasn't Watford. If Coach Johnson was there, I was told he would not come to Bama. Now it was because of coach Johnson being fired. They seem to be making it up as they go.
I wish the kid an unsuccesful career at L$U , I say lets get Rojas and call it day. anyway CNO will get us a 5 star next year I assume. and for Watford and L$U I hope Wade gets fired next week. and ITS COMING sometime I hope get left out of tournament.
I remember you posting that previously. I agree that there is something going on with the Watford's and UA. I remember his brother never gave us a chance so my gut feeling was that it was going be the same way with TW and that turned out to be true. When we hired CNO I tried to be optimistic but my initial gut feeling was right all along.
