Link: Tyler Booker responding to David Pollack Pre Game comments

Imagine Joey Galloway being a voice of reason and being on “the Alabama side” for once? Hell must have frozen over…

I already knew hell had frozen over because CM Punk returned to the WWE.
----------------------

Grown man still being called "Booger" throwing a hissy fit on national television is quite embarrassing for Anthony Darelle and ESPN.

I'll go ahead and call out @theballguy and @HighlandOak personally...

How do you two guys feel about saying Saban should go ahead and retire, now that we're SEC Champs and playoff bound???
Everyone vents from time to time. I don’t question anyone's loyalty on this board even if their view doesn’t align with mine. Try it some time you might like it.

UGA fans be hurtin' right now. In less than 24 hours, they went from being the undefeated consensus best team in America, consecutive national titleists riding a 29-game winning streak and an assured No. 1 slot in the CFP to being knocked all the way to No. 6 and out of the playoffs with no chance at a threepeat. It's gotta suck to be a Dawg fan this afternoon.
“Who’s that comin down the track?
It’s the mean machine with no chance at back-to-back to back

Ain’t nothin finer in the land than a drunk, obnoxious, and WHINING Georgia fan!!!!”

LOL!

If people don't want to be called out for their asinine hot takes, they shouldn't declare them publicly.

You have freedom of choice, not freedom from consequence...

do we really even have to consider him being irrational?

He chose, as an adult, to keep being called by a nickname - "Booger".

That just about says all that can be said about him.

Yeah, the NFL side of ESPN realized they'd made a mistake with him and transferred him back to the college side for the rest of us to suffer through. My god at the blunders and utter idiotic statements he made on the largest football stage in America.

"We just knew we had to make our statement today," Alabama guard Tyler Booker said after the game. "Especially when you got guys like David Pollack saying that the standard is Georgia. The standard can only be imitated, not replicated. There's only one Alabama, and there's always going to be one Alabama. The message was, we are the standard. There would be no Georgia without Alabama. We are the standard. We proved that today. We might have had a slow two years, but the standard is here. We are the standard. Block out what everybody else says. David Pollack, we are the standard."

Don't tell me that the players didn't take this game personally and to heart! You know Coach Saban drilled it in their heads all season long.
Incredibly well said.

It’s like he doesn’t know just how truly lucky they are. We had two of the best WRs in the nation to go down and they barely won one and like you said the second was gift wrapped. On and even field and even terms like we got last night Bama is just better. Both teams had multiple people out and injuries and they can say nothing. i am just happy we found that spark again, forget what they (UGA) is talking about. There is no dynasty there. There’s only one, and it’s here.

If not for Jason Autrey last year in the UT game, we would have been in last year's SECCG and things could have looked entirely different...

Well, not to pick a nit, but if Golding could coach at all during a game and actually coach ILBs, we wouldn’t be all disgruntled about bad judgement Jason.

I have been an Alabama fan for many moons. This team has turned out to be one of my favorites. This has been said by others and I agree this team really like each other. Reminds me of the 1992 team in this regard. Of course there has been great coaching and player development to get them in the play offs. I had no doubt we were going to beat Georgia when we took the lead at 10 to 7. Georgia did play better in the second half, but that was because we were late recognizing they took away running up the middle, which we feasted on in the first half.

I do want to give Georgia credit for being a good team for a few years now. The were good before Smart got there but could not get over the hump. They played us tough the last four times we beat them. Having said that the teams I want to beat worst than Georgia are Tennessee, Auburn, LSU and Georgia Tech (back when they were in the SEC). They do have an arrogate fans base. My niece, an Auburn grad and huge fan, hates Georgia worst than Alabama. For us old folks there has always been some bad blood between Alabama and Georgia for one reason or another. Fanny Flagg points this out to an extent in "Fried Green Tomatoes."
