This statement is more of a curiosity than a belief, but I'm curious if the fact that we (Bama) wear black "no contact" jersey's in practice has any effect on our players when they play a team with black jerseys. I can't help but wonder if all those practices of "don't hit the guy in black" would cause any sort of hesitation at the point of contact when say sacking the QB or wrapping up a running back off tackle. I don't really believe this would be the case, but it's interesting on a psychological level how ppl react to conditioned responses.
On this line of thought, does anyone know if the scout team will be wearing black jersey's to simulate UGA?
