Alabama: Uniforms and Tradition

Just turned on the Texas and TCU game and GOOD GRIEF!!! These might be the worst color scheme unis I’ve seen in a minute. This really makes me appreciate the Bama and Penn St. uniforms that much more!!!

I have seen a couple of different helment schemes that I would like to see for special occasions...but I agree. Glad Bama sticks to school colors. I don't get some of these schemes where a school's colors are (for example) navy and Burnt orange, but they are suited up into Black and gray?? What?

I have been bothered by the white line in bama helmet (was it change recently?)... also the new helmets look like from science fiction movie with sharp angles ... I like the rounded ones

I don't see anything particularly bad about the TU unis, but I think Stevie Wonder picked the TCU colors.

Alabama has had my favorite uniform in sports for sixty years.

Notre Dame, as bad as I hate to say this, has the best helmets.

That Longhorn on the side of Texas helmets is very cool.

I absolutely hate any iteration of the Vols panty suits.

TCU has some pretty awful unis. Don’t know what they were thinking.

Tonight, I’m digging the grey helmets and pants with crimson highlights for WSU.

Yeah....those are distinctive. Resembles the coloration of a Wolverine..so...how does the Univ of Delaware explain almost the exact same design as Michigan when their mascot is a chicken??

Not really, both have meddled with their look. Remember the drop shadow numbers Tater Tot did. And LSU has multiple “special” unis.
