If my memory is correct, Grinch came to Norman from Ohio State, where we were told he had some good defenses.

He was co-defensive coordinator with Schiano for one year (Schiano was in year three).

I don't think that small sample size means much.

From what I've seen, Alex Grinch has no idea what he's doing. Like at all.

But most likely he'll end up somewhere else next season and the defense will be solid, because I think Riley is the issue.

Maybe Ole Miss will hire Grinch as co- defensive coordinator. Two half- coordinator might make a whole.
