UT tight end injured

No disrespect to the injured player. but the rumor on the streets is that
Fulmer had a hallucination and knocked the player down trying to catch the Krispy Kreme box.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Injuries are a part of every sport. I think it is ridiculous to sit there and act like you actually care when in reality you are just saying the polite thing and then moving on. In this day and age with such great medical care, injuries are not so much a terrible thing as an excuse to let all your other injuries heal up and focus on grades. The only time I truly feel terrible for a kid is if it will drastically effect on the rest of his life (in a physical way), ends his playing career, or right before he is due to get a professional contract. Other than that, it is a temporary setback. I have had many injuries that shelved me from my sports "career", I have many friends that have snapped ACL's and such. It sucked, but it was never a "terrible" thing. But pretending to be sad for a kid that you dont even know just so you can proudly thump your chest about how classy you are is a bit disingenuous.
Btw no one made a joke about the kid's injury, every post I saw was a joke about UcheaT's pay for play program.

Well said . I'd much rather be labeled as insensitive as opposed to being disingenuous or just plain full of it . :cool2:
