What happened at end of game with Franklin almost fighting a Georgia coach. Anyone see that? It was crazy ending.

I flipped on the game right before Vandy blocked the punt. I was hoping they'd win. The team gathering was interesting to say the least. The announcers made a comment that that was going on the whole game. I'm not sure since I only watched the last minute or so. It was crazy for sure.

It looked to me like the coaches got into it which, of course, started the players acting like idiots. UGA is such an undisciplined team at times, that "chippy" behavior is almost a week by week thing for them.

There was a lot of jawing and after the whistle behavior. I did not see the end of the game but during the game, number 99 for UGA threw a punch at a Vandy player laying on the ground. A 15 yard penalty was enforced but the player should have been ejected. I have seen at least 3 incidents of players in SEC games this season throw punches with no ejection. That is uncalled for. I have come to expect Mike Slive to be an incompetant bafoon but I expect Steve Shaw to have a better handle on situations such as those 3 incidents.

I like the attitude that Franklin is bringing to Vandy. So much for being a doormat. Have some gumption about yourselves. Good for Vandy.

typical uga, more worried about prancing around and acting the fool than playing fundamental football. they are a truly classless bunch

That UGA/*U game might be one to bring the paddy wagons to....

I mean the fighting and shooting that could go on that night might be one for the ages.

Coach Franklin was geeked up! The Georgia assistant would not stop running his mouth. It took about 3 coaches to hold Franklin back. I am anxious to find out tomorrow how and why it started. Anyways ROLL TIDE! We have a classy team. We rank close to the best in the league on penalties.

Todd Grantham is a hothead. He was disciplined for his actions against Florida last year, giving the Gators' kicker a "throat slash". Tonight, he went after the Vanderbilt head coach. I don't pretend to know what caused it, but he's a coach. He has to have resolve. Those type of actions are going to spill over to the players. Grantham was pushing Vanderbilt coaches and a police officer too. They're lucky it didn't turn out like the fight between Clemson and South Carolina, or the Miami-FIU brawl in 2006.

That's exactly who I thought it was! Coach Grantham is a loser. That guy needs to go but CMR is too nice of a guy. That's why both of them will be gone soon. The players act like Grantham. What else do you expect when your leaders don't have class.

Pretty bad image though. Not good for Grantham

This man is impressive.

Here's hoping that they take out UT this year. I think he was probably the right man for the Job. He doesn't have a lot of "quit" in him just because he has a program that isn't strong. Good character.

The thing I like about Franklin is that he refuses to play the victim card with Vandy. When he recruits, he doesn't allow for the high academic standards to be a issue as to why players shouldn't go to Vandy. He recruits them by saying that is the very reason you should go to Vandy.
