Whats going on with Cooper???

I don't know if he'll have a big game, as I still think he is less then 100%...but I'm not sure if it matters. Yes, he's an All_American talent, but it's arguably the one position where we can afford to let him heal as long as he REALLY needs to...

Yeah, but we'll need him soon enough. Said he had no limp today. Hopefully that'll be the shot in the arm we need.

Not 100% + being double teamed + more options at receiver + A.J. has thrown a few his way that were really uncatchable.

I am not worried about Cooper at all.

I think the injuries have hurt his ability to cut and get separation for catches. The lack of separation has led to more drops. That's really it. It's not a sophomore slump...just a slump happening in his sophomore year due to nagging injuries.

I know he can't be 100% because they aren't even calling those screens to him where he'd just use his speed and shiftiness to make plays.

I'm hoping for a real bounce back this week. It may be a little of everything mentioned, that & AJ just has not had the time to get it to him like last year.

My biggest excitement going into the year was the talent we have on offense, I'm not readybto give up on that just yet, Cooper is & needs to be a big part of that success.

I know it sounds like a cop out but us not running the ball has really put attention on the receivers.

Lets hope so.....I see the talent at every position and its at least 2 deep. However whats I don't see is a mean streak from anyone. They just seem to be going through the motions.
I just believe we put it together from here on out. Coop will have a break out game this week.

Strongly agree. The best half of football Bama has played was the first half against A&M. Then, the second half came and we rested for some reason. It isn't the talent level, it's the attitude. I think after the talks they've had it will change. No reason why this team shouldn't dominate everyone.

We have to get him involved early Sat. night. Throw a couple of quick passes early on and get him rolling. I look for us to play our best game to date on Sat. night.

I think you are on target. Coop's a very talented WR and I expect him to be up and going just fine once his foot/ankle problem resolves. For those who feel the need to criticize just try running and cutting with a bad foot. Ditto this for Belue.
So then maybe we'll see more of Chris Black until Amari heals. He looked pretty healthy on that last TD against CSU.

If AJ would quit that pitch and run sideline pass that everyone knows is coming and take it down field on a fly Coop would be more involved.
