29 is the # county in BAMA that will always be home... Elmore
Wherabouts in Elmore County? I'm from Tallassee.

And the Creek indians spelled Tallassee as Talisi, thus talisitider. And Hotel Talisi is spelled the old way. Talisi is also the root of Tulsa, OK, Trail of Tears indians left out of Talisi and named it Tulsy which became Tulsa. Kinda neat.... Talis was a huge creek nation

Oddly enough . . .

I thought you were tagging Joab Thomas as the anti-christ.

Now, that would be funny.
My freshman year at Bama was Joab's 1st year as Prez.

Later, when I drove up to Penn State to look for an apartment, I checked into a hotel, turned on the TV, and there was the live press conference announcing Joab as the new Penn State prez.

One of us was apparently stalking the other, but I've never been able to determine which one. :conf3:

In another bit of odd timing, I mailed my application to Penn State the Monday after Thomas Rayham blocked the kick.

Apart from their delusional insistence that Preston Gothard was out of bounds, they really love Bama football up there.

I call the local sports call-in shows and they started calling me "Alabama Larry". I mention the Tide a lot especially during the season and alot of folks up here dread it. I can't blame them I pretty bad. Sometimes when I'm out someone will stop me and ask if I'm Alabama Larry? My wife gets real worried. WHAS reaches 38 states at nite so listen for me. 840 AM. I've called the shows since 1980.

I love Bama and live on the Gulf Coast, ie Rip tide. Also a rip tide is nothing to play with, it is dangerous. Bama is becoming dangerous again.

I've had...

this name since the old listserv days - before the web. There're so many more folks on the net from Huntsville now, I wish I'd tried for something more distinctive. However, I have the same handle everywhere and have for years, so I guess it's too late to change now...

I have worked Radar for the past 20 or so years and our unofficial mascot is a bat..... plus people who know me might say I'm a bit Batty. To use bat as a screen name I needed a few more letters so it became b-a-t-1-2-3 kinda ryhmes and I have seen few other bats on line (only after imbibing a little too much)...... Roll Tide Y'all

Figure people know where I got mine?

After growing tired of "trolls", etc....if I'm going to post anything on the 'net I am going to stand behind it.

So there is no less than 3 of us from Elmore County? Talisitider, good to speak to you again. Jdpas29, I'm originally from Eclectic, what say you?

The name, "TideRollsInVa", kind of speaks for itself.
