I love running the option on NCAA Football games. Not necessarily a fan of the Tide running it. It just depends on personnel. Loved TW, though.

22 has been my # as far as I can remember. It started b/c Will Clark was my favorite baseball player. But, Musso works good too!

Wisten - An adaptation of a character I played in college who was basically a wistful little hobbit, hence wisten, and it stuck even though I have not even looked at an RPG in years. :)

Hey Cool Eddie! You still live in Pensacola?

I actually live just a couple of miles north of the city limits in Cantonment. I grew up and went to high school in the north end of the county near the Alabama line. Are you from the area?

I am a huge tide fan, and I go to UNA (University of North Alabama)

We were up to #3 this year in the polls yet everyone here still preferred Alabama or Auburn over UNA. I guess that's how it goes when you're a DII School!

But Vinnie's back. Things will perk up for the Lions this year. Also noticed that A.J. Milwee xferred to UNA from Bama.

Yeah, we also got Eric Packer a 2003 3-star RB Tide signee who never made the grades. We also got a QB transfer from Mississippi State and all of the Deshler atheletes who didn't make the grades, so all in all, we actually had a really good recruiting class for a DII school. Better than UAB!

The football team won 3 REAL NC's my time there and we still could not pack the stadium to its capacity. The games were great though!

I know what you mean, but I think a big part of it was due to the unwillingness of fans from the away team to come and pack out the other side. It's always EMPTY! As much fun as it is to watch Alabama football, it wouldn't be as fun if the passionate fans from other teams didn't show up. But UNA is on it's way back up, ranked #3 last year before finishing 5-5, and we finished national runner up in 2003. But even though I go to school there, I'd rather see us lose every game if it meant Bama gpt to run the table!

I grew up in the promised land of Tuscaloosa and left to spread the gospel of Crimson Tide football to the heathens, sort of a Johnny Appleseed of Alabama football.

I attended the University of Evansville (Ind.) and now live in Washington, D.C. Evansville is the basketball team that wore sleeved uniforms, and we're known as the Purple Aces.

Crimson Tide + Purple Aces = Crimson Aces, making me Crimson Ace.

You've got to love the annual offseason threads. We've already done occupations and, now, login names. That leaves potential uniform changes and favorite OTHER teams to go. Am I forgetting one?

I wanted to combine my life long fascination with the weather and my love of all things Bama into a name that was synonymous with the power of the Crimson Tide. A storm surge is a frighteningly powerful force associated with the raging tide produced by a hurricane. Once it builds momentum, it cannot be stopped. :cool2:
