Do your think its because we don't have a big man outside or we just dont have the talent at WR/QB? Something just don't seem up to par.
WR's dont have to be big to be great. I think it's a combination of us lacking talent at the WR position and breaking in a young QB.Do your think its because we don't have a big man outside or we just dont have the talent at WR/QB? Something just don't seem up to par.
Because it's been like that for a while. If I'm a top QB recruit that wants to put up crazy numbers and such, I'm not going to an SEC school.I'll never understand why other teams can get amazing quarterbacks, and we just keep getting those "game managers". Its been the case for a long time, regardless of the coaching staff.
You dont think Tebow's offense with Percy Harvin and Hernandez was a high powered offense? you dont think Aubies offense last year was high powered? You dont think our 09 offense with Ingram and Julio wasnt high powered?Look at the stats again....
How many high powered passing offenses have won a national championship recently?
He said high powered passing offenses. As you mentioned, all the offenses listed were balanced with a very good running attack. You dont think Tebow's offense with Percy Harvin and Hernandez was a high powered offense? you dont think Aubies offense last year was high powered? You have to have balance. This "defense wins defense" slogan is only part of the truth...good qbs have been difference makers in a lot of the recent championships...three of which were one by 2 of the best college QBs in history (Cam, tebow and Vince). Heck RGIII beat Oklahoma by himself the other night.
Our passing-game coaching is not as good as our running-game coaching. (Same with kicking.)It could also be the "don't screw up" mentality.

Missed the "passing part." Sorry about that.Tebow? High powered passing attack? You want us to run an Urban/Gus spread offense?
We are pretty balanced if you look at the numbers
RGIII lost three games this year. I like our offense better
how many of those teams with "amazing QBs" have won 13 NC soon to be 14??????I'll never understand why other teams can get amazing quarterbacks, and we just keep getting those "game managers". Its been the case for a long time, regardless of the coaching staff.
Not sure I understand your postnot sure I understand this thread...
The best quarterback in the SEC Tyler Wilson has a 148.7 rating. AJ has a 146.5 rating. The only struggling I've seen is with redzone play calling.Do your think its because we don't have a big man outside or we just dont have the talent at WR/QB? Something just don't seem up to par.
AJ is in the Top 3 in all QB categories in the SEC. Only Wilson and Murray are slightly better than him. at times, AJ is better and leads at certain categories. all this for a first time starter in the best conference. The best quarterback in the SEC Tyler Wilson has a 148.7 rating.
