Having my wife as a Mizzou grad, and my brother as a Longhorn, I have alot riding on the game.
As I see it, Mizzou doesn't have enough defense to stop UT. The Horns have enough on D to at least slow down the Mizzou offense.
Mizzou's coach also knows that Texas is one of the premier college football programs, and will play not to lose instead of to win. He did the same thing last year against OU in both games.
Having seen both teams plenty of times this year, I say Texas wins easily.
My wife is gonna kill me after this post though.

Mizzou has a potent offense, Daniels is a good QB, UT is coming off a big win, and Mizzou is going to be very fired up. To all of which I have one thing to say.

Muschamp.

UT remains #1 after this weekend.

I think this will be a game with two lousy defenses with a score something like:

Mizzou 51
Texas 55

I expect a huge amount of points to be on the board.

Daniels does have a lot to prove. Coming home to TX and the sorry game he played last week. If he gets time I think he'll hold his own with the TX defense, but I don't think MO can keep the TX offense in check all day.

TX 48
MO 32

And if that happens, you know all of the tv 'talking heads' will go on and on about how this was two GREAT teams slugging it out and ignore the fact that they just didn't play any defense. :conf2:

Missouri has their backs against the wall now to stay in contention but relish the underdog role. Meanwhile, Texas faces what is perhaps a better overall offense than Oklahoma and utilizes two true freshman safeties. If Texas does not get points from their defense or special teams then they will struggle.

Look for Texas to be exposed on pass defense again this week and look for Missouri to pull the mild upset (before last weekend, Texas would have been the underdog). This should be a good battle that perhaps is not settled until OT.

Texas 38

:BigA:The only upset I am worried about now is some one upsetting Alabama! I think we will be favored for the rest of our games so any one of those would be a upset! As long as we win I think we will remain at #2. I think we could beat Texas and it would be great for 2 undefeated teams to be in the BCS game! I think it might be Penn State and Alabama! There is an old saying that history repeats itself! As long as we take care of business I dont care about where we are now in the polls or who gets upset. I think we are in perfect position and still have the ultimate goal sitting in front of us! If we were all ready # 1 we might lose sight of our goal! I want to wind of # 1 in Jan !!! Right now really does not matter! As Saban says who was #1 this time last year?:BigA:

Muschamp has actually taught a little defense in Austin; not SEC type, but better than anything I've seen out here so far (presently watching Aggy vs. TTU and its like watching Arena League). A little defense win this game. Hook Em.

Well, as i said earlier in this thread i think UT wins big. Do those that said Mizzu would win still feel good about that....it's still early.

UT plays defense and Mizzu does not. Big difference in the big 12. The SEC has some QB's that would look very good in that conference.
