simple question really, will you root for the gators if they get into the NC game? me personally, I have always disliked the gators so I will be rooting against them. Which is hard as well considering I was raised in TX as a Longhorn fan. First love is Bama, evil mistress is the Longhorns. anyway, GO OSU!!!

Yes. My deal with UF is kinda like fightin with ur brother, but OSU is like the big bully from the other neighborhood who needs to get smacked in the mouth.

I'll be pulling for Fla. because they represent the SEC.The only time I've really disliked Fla. was when CSS was their HC, He always wanted to beat other teams as much as possible. He could be leading 50-0 and still have his first team on the field passing with 10 seconds left to play. Shula got blasted for the same thing when Prothro got hurt. The only other time I hate them is when they beat Bama.

Same for me. SEC all the way except...the vols. The only time I have pulled for the vols is when it helps us or when they play nd. When the vols won their NC I was pulling against them. And this has nothing to do with their coach, I just can't stand them since the 60s. Go Gators.

Florida is now the represenative of the SEC and as such has my support. I could never pull for a Ohio State against a SEC school (except Auburn) I do have my limits. How could any SEC fan pull for Ohio State? I don't have to love their style of football. I haven't seen anything that makes them a "super" power. I think there are a few colleges this year that could give them a run for their money. I do know there is one person happier than most now with his decision and that is Tebow RTR

Did you read my post? I am not an SEC fan, and I haven't been since we discovered their complicity in our downfall. Any Bama fan that is also a fan of the SEC is a fool, IMO...

Our downfall? Who are you? I guess being in NY has its downfall. I have been a Bama fan for over fifty years and I have seen it all so don't get so know it all with me. We were wrong in what happened with the NCAA as pained as I am to admit it and we took our medicine. But as I stood in that stadium on opening day this season and saw what had been accomplished during what you term our downfall I was darn proud. the SEC didn't bring us to our knees, stupidity did. We are still one of the nation's most storied programs and have an enviable history and future. We are part of the SEC we have been thier champions and we have no reason to be ashamed of that association. Root for Ohio State heck root for anyone you like but DONT tell me I am a fool. RTR
