2014 RB Devine Redding Updates

Devin Redding, Mineral Ridge, OH. Has anyone heard of this kid...supposively jumped on everyones radar after a recent combine in Ohio where he was dominating jaylon smith. Supposively on tOSU's radar as well as Bama. Admittedly I dont have much info, but reaching out to you guys to confirm or deny any of these rumors.

I have not but with us leading for Bo Scarborough(prob end up WR) and Racean Thomas and in great shape for Fournette(LA) I am not sure where we stand with another RB considering we may end up with 3 this year. Those 3 2014 I mentioned may be better than the 3 we land this year.

I have not but with us leading for Bo Scarborough(prob end up WR) and Racean Thomas and in great shape for Fournette(LA) I am not sure where we stand with another RB considering we may end up with 3 this year. Those 3 2014 I mentioned may be better than the 3 we land this year.

Yep; we are almost full on RB this year I think. I think Henry might be the only back left we are really pursuing. Bo ends up elsewhere; I think he'll be a legit 6'3 at least and that seems too tall for a RB. Who knows, depending on how Hart and Lacy respond to their injuries/ recovery, our RB depth might need restocking in '13 and '14.

I hope Kamara is in the pecking order, too. The nice part of watching Georgia fans squirm over this is we don't really need Henry. And if it came to an either/or I'd rather have our current commits plus Kamara. Lotta jabbering on the AJC that Jones will switch if Henry does. As always, it's nice to know that our coaches are 5 moves ahead.

on Rivals they don't show Bama offering Fournette which doesn't mean a thing since some services are late.

I noticed LSU already offered him. Yet, we are in good shape?? please tell me more.

Tenpenny and Jones are dynamic in their own right. that gives me chills. :biggrin2:

IMO, we're in great shape for Fournette if he decides to go play the LB role which is a possiblity given that he keeps getting bigger and he enjoys the position. If he sticks with RB then UA's chances go down a little bit but to my understanding, it's a LSU/UA battle

I'm still not giving up on Bo at RB just yet, as has been said it depends on how much he does grow as he is very young. He is a gamebreaker type player.

With what we have at RB already I'm just not high on thinking we pull anymore in this class but hope I'm wrong. I'm very happy to have Yeldon and Tenpenny.
