Unless he did it with his kicking leg, I'm not interested.Apparently Cade Foster threw up 455.

I know what you mean. I would rather have him weight 160 pounds and spend all his time kicking FG's than bencing 455 for that time our kickoff coverage breaks down and he has to make a tackle.Unless he did it with his kicking leg, I'm not interested.
That is incredible. I anxiously await the NFL combine next year when we see if he can break the record for reps @225lbs.
NFL combine record is 49 reps @ 225#, set in 2011 by Stephen Paea: http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/02/27/paea-shatters-combine-bench-press-mark/he did 50 @225 last year, what's the record.
For us that are less informed, can you explain the difference between an unshirted bench press and one wearing a bench press shirt? To put this into perspective, as best as I can tell from the picture, Jesse's not wearing a bench press shirt. As far as I can tell through limited research, although the unshirted world record sits well above 600lbs at 715lbs, 600lbs or more has only been pressed 58 times in the world previous to Jesse's lift. He's in rare company.
Oh that's easy... The spotter is grateful for the shirt. For us that are less informed, can you explain the difference between an unshirted bench press and one wearing a bench press shirt?
I hope that I haven't given the impression that I'm informed, because I'm not. But google is my friend. For us that are less informed, can you explain the difference between an unshirted bench press and one wearing a bench press shirt?
Gawd I hope you're a gurl...Wow! I did not realize he was such a cutie!!!
If so, she needs to change her name to "kittykat4bama"! ;-)Gawd I hope you're a gurl...
That's coming from the best O-Lineman in the country..Jesse is a "Beast"..It's a great time too be a Bama Fan..Mates..Barrett Jones Twitter response to Williams' press: "I have to block that..."
Thanks for the quality insight, Mr. Button.Talked to some staff and found out that J. Williams is as dedicated a player you will ever find! On an average day they say he will put in between 8-10 hours of time in the weight room!!!!!
On a side note: D. Belue benched 400 when weighing around 175 and fresh out of high school running back TJ Yeldon benched 410!!!
There is no doubt in my opinion that Cochran is doing as good a job as anyone in the country.
No problem...(just curious, what does "Mr. Button" refer to/mean?)Thanks for the quality insight, Mr. Button.
