Game Thread: OFFICIAL POST-GAME THREAD - Bama vs. Clemson...

For those worried about the offense, consider this - Alabama converted 8 of 17 third downs. That is amazing against a defense like Clemson's.

The offense controlled the clock and moved the ball decently. We left some points on the board, but they were consistent and efficient. We did run the ball with the backs something like 73% of the time. My only real frustration was the alst two drives when we did all those roll outs. I just wished we would have run down the clock more.

Great win! Defense was outstanding but I’m worried about Anfernee. Hope he can play and that Dylan will be ready . Our offense needs some work to beat Georgia though.

I read an article saying Tua may play in the game some. I wish he would have for a few snaps.

I figured Bama would be able to keep it close, but jeez, that was a nasty defensive effort. Nasty.

Daboll called a pretty good game. We left sole points on the field (should have been 34-3), but Clemson has never been whipped so badly on such a big stage, at least not since the 2011 season.

And where did you celebrate after the game? El Casa de waffle

I will say this- either the Superdome has stealthily narrowed their seats or I have lost my boyish hips since we played Ohio St here.
and perhaps of greater import .. up close the Clemson mascot bears startling resemblance to Mack Brown after he lost.

I think CNS felt you on that one. He gave Daboll quite the tongue-lashing toward the end there.

The PA pass to Payne was brilliant. My only complaint was at the end when he called back to back pass plays when we should have been running clock. He got greedy. Coach Saban chewed him out for it too.

Great achievement, but I wish he didn't have it. ;)

Well he has fewer attempts than most other punters. To me it’s indicative of how great his average is. He’s a threat and we get to watch him one more game. He’s a special talent.

My hat's off to our O-Line as well for pushing around a Clemson D-Line that's one of the absolute best in college footall..I thought they had one helluva game as a unit..A job well done Boy's..

No way that’s just a sprain! IMO, No way after watching that does he play next week. Hate it for him...he played the best game of his career tonight.
