Game Thread: OFFICIAL POST-GAME THREAD - Bama vs. Clemson...

No way that’s just a sprain! IMO, No way after watching that does he play next week. Hate it for him...he played the best game of his career tonight.

I’ll reserve judgment until I hear directly from Saban after more evaluation

Best coaching job of the CNS era? Unsurprisingly, preceded by arguably the or at least one of the worst coaching jobs of the CNS era?

Which one are you considering the worst? Surely not in this run. That belongs to 2010 which was arguably one of our most talented teams. Cant bring my self to say any of the playoff teams are among Saban’s worst coaching jobs.

I meant individual game. Not season.

Defense healthy again (Hope Jennings is ok). Winning with a dominate defense. Order has been restored. Back to winning the old fashion way, bludgeoning the opposition.

Helps when guys aren't making NFL throws in good coverage.

Defense looked great. Unless Fromm plays his best game of the year, or we have a let down. The defense matches up with vs UGA too.

No doubt many butt-hurt college football experts this morning trying to explain how they knew Alabama was the best team last night. Most of the same ones owe Georgia and the SEC an apology as well.

“As a team, we had a mentality of: Don’t remember the wins, remember the losses,” Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts said. “And we never forget what happened.”

Sounds a little chilling from a player in a program that has lost 15 games in the last 10 seasons. Fifteen total losses in a decade.

Give Saban time, and he is a devious genius. He made sure his players were aware of every slight, real or perceived. He made sure the Tide understood that Clemson had erected a tombstone back at its South Carolina campus commemorating last season’s victory in the national title game. Never mind that it’s a long-standing Clemson tradition to mark significant road victories in this fashion. To Alabama, this became about the Tigers and Coach Dabo Swinney essentially mocking them.

Was that the truth? Didn’t matter. It’s what they believed. Listen to Brown, the defensive back who was part of the coverage in the game-deciding play a year ago.

People like Danny Kannell, Skip Bayless, Joel Klatt and Dan Wolken can all join hands and recreate the final scene from Thelma and Louise. That would be a good start.

LOL. Just saw this, this morning. If the rest of the Defense is this charged up no wonder they were in "Beast Mode". Hope it carriers through to next week.

Me too DMD, me too. The dominating win against Clemson was huge redemption for this team BUT now the focus has to be dominate for four more quarters and FINISH.

We saw last night what the 2017 defense could have been without the injuries. Mercy, that was a thing of beauty.
