Looking solid everywhere except for WR with us missing on Smith, Jarrett who we thought we may flip , and Baker who is committed but rumblings on him possibly not qualifying that leaves us with only one signed to this point. Do we still expect Holden to sign??? I guess this may be a position we look to the transfer portal on

Baker is expected to qualify...if Smith and Ruggs return like it is rumored..with Waddle, Slade Bolden, Metchie, and Shavers. Alabama will be fine at WR....a lot of WR talent already on campus.

Honestly, I was glad to see him sign with Carolina. Well, let me amend that statement. I wish he would have signed with us, of course, but I like to see some of these kids stay close to home. I know some kids want to branch out and travel to a new part of the country, but it is also nice to see some of these kids stay close. It seems to keep rivalries more intense when guys who grew up with the rivalries in their backyards play in them.

We have sane fans and then we have fans that are just plum unrealistic. For us to be where we are when rival programs are dead set on ending our run by any means necessary says a lot. Especially when the main 2 were expected to finish higher than us across the board

Reason I don’t listen/watch Finebaum. The guy appeals to the lowest common denominator in college football fandom.
