Jalen Milroe is now the starter going forward.

Too many of us guys are making sweeping proclamations about what these QB's can or cannot do.

For his part, Milroe has helmed the team in game action for a total of how many quarters in his career? Why assume what we've seen is his ceiling and he wouldn't benefit from experience?

Our center is struggling mightily. I don't see anybody on here calling for a green backup to take his place or claiming Saban is torpedoing the team by not doing so.

I just don't understand not trying the only thing we haven't really tried. Ty hasn't had a chance to start a game yet. He came in when they had already established aggression. Buchner had time to throw at the beginning. Ty may have lit it up, but we will never know. It's gonna be too late to try anything if we lose to Ole Miss

Hey, I am not arguing for or against Milroe. Ask me and I'll tell you he should have never been recruited for the QB position. I am just a fan pulling for my team. We have to sink or swim with these guys and I prefer to support them.

Couldn't give 2 rips for Ty Simpson's feelings. This is a team sport and I trust the coach to right the ship.

Milroe has my support, but he's miles away from having my confidence. He's going to be a liability on the majority of his drop backs. He'll make some plays each game, but he's also going to make plenty of mistakes. That's going to be worth at least 3 more losses this year. Our OC needs to cater to his strengths if we're going to avoid those losses. Speaking of Rees, he also does not have my confidence.

Color me confused. A QB with 3 starts under hi belt with very mixed results gives way to the second string QB via coaches decision. He then displays an attitude which gets him suspended (?) for the game. The team as a whole looks even more lackluster during the game which is narrowly won via a good defensive effort and some at least decent play by the third string QB. After the game there is a players only meeting followed by the head coach announcing that the original starting QB apparently no longer with an attitude/no longer suspended is now starting the next game. Should be a fun week on TFs.

It would make a ton more sense if JM WAS suspended as to why he didn't play Sat.! But if he was not suspended how do you go from #3 to #1 without even playing a down?

And if he WAS suspended for the reasons some are stating, how he he suddenly a team leader again?

And I still don't know why CNS offers Kiffin the knowledge JM is now the starter???

I mean, something seems curious with this whole series of events. And it's so opposite to how CNS normally handles things.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but some of this isn't adding up IMO!

What happens when Jalen throws for 250 yards with 3 tds, and rushed for 80 yards.... and OL is agressive and blocking much better this saturday? We're still doomed? We're screwed? The point is that we're operating on week to week basis and we just need to pray that Milroe can progress better each week, the more he plays. I think knowing he's the starter going forward should ease his anxiety ....... yeah I said it. I think he'll be okay.

Buncner was moving up the depth chart during the summer camp.... He didn't go from #3 to #1 in one week. He just had a Blake Barnett game. Great in practice, bad in game.

Run the ball, zone reads, sweeps, quick passes. get it out of his hands quick and or let him run more, He is a dual threat, not a pocket passer. We didnt call plays to help him be successful vs texas.

I wasn’t referring to his feelings per se. He was asked to win a game on the road on a likely still wet field, and he did. The fact that he continues to get placed on the back burner in favor of a running back just sucks.
