Notice it’s not a ban from coaching on game day. He’ll carry on all his duties except he will be remote. A la Saban when he had Covid.i was about to post this—-Penn State is a hard place to go into and win anyway. This is going to be a tough one for Michigan to pull off.
The betting line movement should be significant, if it doesn’t go off entirely.
Kind of a strange edict—only banning him from the sideline on gameday.
That's what I was driving at above. By this point in the season, you know they've had enough time to steal all their opponents' signals, including PSU and TOSU. To include them in the Playoffs at this point would be a travesty. He wasn't all that as a gameday coach anyway...Notice it’s not a ban from coaching on game day. As it pertains to Desmond Howard - “It is better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt”.Desmond Howard has made a fool of himself in his rabid defense of Michigan, including his attack on the SEC. ESPN ought to suspend him from Gameday immediately...but don't hold your breath.
True. I don't think Penn State has had time to change their signals, have they? I'm not sure how all that stuff works. I don't think they should be allowed in the championship game or playoffs, but apparently the CFP committee thinks differently so far based on what Bill Hancock said. I think he even said they take into consideration if a coach misses a game (and they lose) just like they do a starter being injured missing a game. That's what I was driving at above. It would be better if UM beat UGA then had to vacate it, hahahahahaLet's just hope Michigan somehow loses and doesn't make the playoffs at all. But, what if they win out and play UGA in the championship game and win? I do not like UGA and don't want them to 3 peat, but in this case, I would want UGA to beat Michigan just because of this scandal.
Let’s be honest, how much does a head coach do on game day, in most instances, other than choose to go for it or how many XP to go after. That's what I was driving at above. Yeah, makes zero diff is Saban is there or not.Let’s be honest, how much does a head coach do on game day, in most instances, other than choose to go for it or how many XP to go after.
Secret to Nick's success. He is always on the sidelines feeling his team and coaches out. And boy have we seen him communicate directly on the sidelines.Let’s be honest, how much does a head coach do on game day, in most instances, other than choose to go for it or how many XP to go after.
We won 2 national championships because we had Saban on the sidelines on game day. Once on an onside kick and another by changing QB's at halftime.Let’s be honest, how much does a head coach do on game day, in most instances, other than choose to go for it or how many XP to go after.
Michigan has already started the process of getting a Temporary restraining order from a friendly judge. (Friday Night)IMO it doesn’t matter if the B1G moves on this and suspends Harbaugh. Then Michigan turns to its attorneys and says “hey get a temporary restraining order in place”.
Desmond Howard did not surprise me.Desmond Howard has made a fool of himself in his rabid defense of Michigan, including his attack on the SEC. ESPN ought to suspend him from Gameday immediately...but don't hold your breath.
"Harbaugh has served one game of the suspension, as he watched last week's win at Penn State from a hotel roughly 20 minutes away. Michigan would earn its 1,000th win Saturday if it beats the Terps. Defensive line coach Mike Elston said "for [Harbaugh] not to be a part of that would be an absolute shame."![]()
