2024 Recruiting: 2025 5* WR Ryan Williams commits

Williams was in Tuscaloosa for almost every home game. I think he missed one. He was in auburn when bama played on the road and one time for the iron bowl.

He likes to go to games, there two big schools in driving distance, he's spends most of his weekends in the one that's furthest away (Tuscaloosa)

Hes going to take all 5 visits because, he has fun on visits.

Hes about as solid as he can be.

Poke, I trust your take and on him and want to believe everything you have said about his commitment to Bama up to this point, but right now my stance on him is that until he signs with the Tide on NSD, Williams is not truly committed. FYI, he can sign early, but he won't since he wants to take all OV.

This, plus he and Mbakwe are close and he just said a few days ago RW ain’t goin anywhere. Unless he’s in on it, I don’t think RW would set up a friend like that; everything I’ve read/heard about him tells me he ain’t like that.

Was I worried when Julio visited Auburn? No. Am I worried about Ryan Williams with Auburn? No. I know Auburn "flipped" Thompson, but I highly doubt they'll flip Williams.

I'm going 1/2 full on this one. Everybody relax for now and enjoy early signing day. We can turn our attention to Ryan in late January. BTW he is announcing on 2/9 instead of 2/7 which is the start of the final signing period. It will be his 17th birthday. He will be playing his entire freshman year in the SEC at 17 y/o 😲.

Definitely been freezes selling point....but its factually incorrect.

Hes mostly taking credit for brown and Metcalf who he only coached for one year.

Sometimes money talks. I will be confident of Williams at Bama when he signs. Until then I will at least wonder if Auburn can flip him.

Seen an article on a FSU site which was about recruiting. Auburn was in on a recruit they were after also. The writer was worried about Auburn's NIL plan for the prospect. He called it top - notch. Evidently, Freeze has some money to play the game with. Yella fella is coming through for Auburn.

The Barn is going Texas A&M route on NIL on up front money. I have heard it is a very large collective.

There's not another school in the nation I'd be less surprised to hear is wagging money at recruits.

They literally bought their only NC since they were API when they (at the time) illegally bought Cam.

It's the only way they see they can compete.

At the end of the day, hugh freeze hasn’t won a damn thing. He’s an 8-4 7-5 coach. I recently heard his weekly press conference and he said he has virtually nothing to do with the defensive side of the ball. On top of that, he’ll do something stupid off the field (once again) and lose his job.
