In 2022 I think there was some glimmer of hope that season that the CFP committee might select us anyway since we only lost to LSU by 1 and UT by 3. I remember Saban was lobbying hard and some here believed we might have a chance. Ultimately we were #5 on selection Sunday behind Ohio State. This time though there even isn't a glimmer.
The fix was in that year. TCU lost their conference title game, and didn’t drop a single spot. The committee had already made up its mind.

Nah, we were dominated. OU had over 200 yards rushing in the first half.
And Bama made ZERO adjustments.

That's the most baffling part. They weren't throwing, weren't even threatening - yet safeties were back, three down linemen, etc. as if they were running a pro-set offense.

Between that and the lack of adjustment on offense (including not sitting Milroe, even just for a series to see how it would go) has me questioning literally everything about this staff.

Saban got greedy and sacrificed the future of the team for one last title and ride off in the sunset. And now we are dealing with his decision.

And why wasn’t Cignetti considered? He’s from the Saban tree and a hell of a coach.
Because he’s at Indiana dealing with three star egos and NIL. Five star NIL and egos is much different.

You saw what happened yesterday when they played a team with a pulse.

Yeah, Indiana is a total fraud, but they are getting rewarded with a playoff spot. Meanwhile, we have a very difficult schedule and are watching from the couch.

Interesting question…. We have heard for 3 years straight that each Alabama is one of the most talented teams ever assembled. But aside from Ryan Williams… who has a prayer on this current team of starting on 2016 or 2020 teams. I think there is this gross misunderstanding between potential and real talent.
The talent is there, but the desire to take that talent to the next level is sorely missing.

The recruiting Process was missing badly the last few years.

In all honesty, I'm not interested in watching this team play any more this season. Likely won't.
Same, when i turn that TV on and see Milroe at center im just gonna turn it right off. figured it would be a two three loss season but this year is just frankly doo doo. Not entertaining at all. LSU was the only game that really had me enjoying the game.

For 3 years the biggest issue we've had is the OL and it was at it's worse last night. Not defending #4, but until we start knocking people around the old Bama way it doesn't matter who is behind center. RTR
