As I was watching tOSU and Indiana yesterday (with the sound off - can’t stand Klatt and Gus) there has been one thing this season about tOSU that has impressed me. They are a fundamentally “sound” football team in all facets of the game. To me, they aren’t a spectacularly impressive team. They just do the things that win. Howard at QB “does his job” without much fanfare. Same holds true for most of the other positions. Yeah, they spent a ton buying portal plays. But give Day credit for making that hodgepodge “cohesive”.

@colbysullivan stated earlier, some how the past two years we come to think that JM has to be “the straw that stirs the drink” on offense. And JM knows that, and has leveraged it to the point where he isn’t coming off the field.
