DeBoer is Alabama's Bryan Harsin - a culture, style, intensity, and effort mismatch for SEC football. You can't fire DeBoer after one year. But his seat is a little hotter than I'd expected going into next year

I don’t see that happening. If Saban couldn’t put a stop to this LANK nonsense, no one can. I believe in CKD, and I think we hired the right guy. But make no mistake, he is NOT Saban.I'd strongly suggest to him its time to hone his craft in the NFL and that he wont be the starter if he desires to return..........and strangle LANK in the process
But we can be the champions of life.Yes, but we still won a title with him as DC. That will never happen with Milroe.
The thought of him somewhere like LSU terrifies me. He could beat us on our own field.I wish I could say you’re wrong but I’m not sure.
He’s probably good enough to start anywhere else in the SEC except for maybe Florida.
If we don’t give him a chance then yeah we’ll probably have to face him as an opponent.
Only when the players who bought into it are gone..........then you can get rid of it and NOT allow Milroe to have a footprint on campus.I don’t see that happening. Yeah, my wife was shocked that I turned it off at 2 minute warning. Which always also only the second timesecond time in my life I have turned a game off because I knew there was no hope.
Bama has the most talent in college football according to people who do this kind of thing for a living.I think you are vastly overestimating the talent on this team. It just isn’t there this year which is why there not players seen as high draft caliber guys on the offensive side of ball. Yes a better pocket passer would help but there isn’t a ton of talent on this team and especially a ton of motivated talent.
LSU vs BAMA 2025: Milroe throws three INTs as Ty Simpson gets revenge on former team with 3tds no picks. The thought of him somewhere like LSU terrifies me. He could beat us on our own field.
I honestly think Milroe is done and will go to the draft..............thats just me, but his support base will be graduating as wellLSU vs BAMA 2025: Milroe throws three INTs as Ty Simpson gets revenge on former team with 3tds no picks.
what a nightmare that would be...
I would not way we were dominate so much as we just gave up. The coaches put in crap effort on game plan. And the players put in crap effort in executing the crap plan. It wasn’t like Oklahoma put up huge numbers. We just rolled overFunny isn’t it? Normally many of us would be raising immortal hell about the absolute atrocious blown call on Williams 4th down touchdown catch that was called back.
Today? It is hardly a blip on our screen because, even at that point, it didn’t matter. We already had been so thoroughly dominated in all phase of the game by OU.
Now THAT is a sad commentary.
I don’t think it’s quite that bad. CKD has won everywhere he’s been. He needs time to get players that fit his system.DeBoer is Alabama's Bryan Harsin - a culture, style, intensity, and effort mismatch for SEC football.
Nah, we were dominated. OU had over 200 yards rushing in the first half.I would not way we were dominate so much as we just gave up. The coaches put in crap effort on game plan. That’s a stretch. He’s actually recruiting. We’re still recovering from the dearth of talent Harsin left us with.DeBoer is Alabama's Bryan Harsin - a culture, style, intensity, and effort mismatch for SEC football.
He just took advantage of the situation as other were bailing. Played the….I stopped the bleeding, it’s my team now card. Then the University went all in also and it’s paying off now as it always does when you bow to a narcissist. He is. We severely underestimated his intentions as a program. He knew he couldnt win the competition on the field straight up.
A football watching friend with no ties to Alabama keeps asking me, "Who put him on the field?"As @colbysullivan stated earlier, some how the past two years we come to think that JM has to be “the straw that stirs the drink” on offense. And JM knows that, and has leveraged it to the point where he isn’t coming off the field.
Yeah, 3 years later is when you can objectively make the judgement on him,.............though the lack of prep can be criticized nowI don’t think it’s quite that bad. CKD has won everywhere he’s been. He needs time to get players that fit his system.
In 2022 I think there was some glimmer of hope that season that the CFP committee might select us anyway since we only lost to LSU by 1 and UT by 3. I remember Saban was lobbying hard and some here believed we might have a chance. Ultimately we were #5 on selection Sunday behind Ohio State. This time though there even isn't a glimmer.2022 was just for bragging rights. LSU had already won the West and we weren't about to get into the 4 team playoff with 2 loses
The game plan on both sides of the ball was atrocious.
OU offense did to us what Vandy did…but without really even throwing the ball.
And our offense essentially played the way OU defensive coaches dreamed we would play.
This game was an absolute disaster in every imaginable way.
Next we face a resurgent Auburn team battling for a bowl, whereas we’re playing for almost nothing.
Won’t be surprised if we lose the Iron Bowl and with it a bunch of recruits and lots of players transferring.
Total disaster.
