Bama Game Thread: Official Game Thread - Postgame Thread...

I'd strongly suggest to him its time to hone his craft in the NFL and that he wont be the starter if he desires to return..........and strangle LANK in the process
I don’t see that happening. If Saban couldn’t put a stop to this LANK nonsense, no one can. I believe in CKD, and I think we hired the right guy. But make no mistake, he is NOT Saban.

Funny isn’t it? Normally many of us would be raising immortal hell about the absolute atrocious blown call on Williams 4th down touchdown catch that was called back.

Today? It is hardly a blip on our screen because, even at that point, it didn’t matter. We already had been so thoroughly dominated in all phases of the game by OU.

Now THAT is a sad commentary.

I wish I could say you’re wrong but I’m not sure.

He’s probably good enough to start anywhere else in the SEC except for maybe Florida.

If we don’t give him a chance then yeah we’ll probably have to face him as an opponent.
The thought of him somewhere like LSU terrifies me. He could beat us on our own field.

Only when the players who bought into it are gone..........then you can get rid of it and NOT allow Milroe to have a footprint on campus.

It can be done but many backbones need to be grown to get it done

I think you are vastly overestimating the talent on this team. It just isn’t there this year which is why there not players seen as high draft caliber guys on the offensive side of ball. Yes a better pocket passer would help but there isn’t a ton of talent on this team and especially a ton of motivated talent.
Bama has the most talent in college football according to people who do this kind of thing for a living.

I would not way we were dominate so much as we just gave up. The coaches put in crap effort on game plan. And the players put in crap effort in executing the crap plan. It wasn’t like Oklahoma put up huge numbers. We just rolled over

Nah, we were dominated. OU had over 200 yards rushing in the first half.

He is. We severely underestimated his intentions as a program. He knew he couldnt win the competition on the field straight up.
He just took advantage of the situation as other were bailing. Played the….I stopped the bleeding, it’s my team now card. Then the University went all in also and it’s paying off now as it always does when you bow to a narcissist.

As @colbysullivan stated earlier, some how the past two years we come to think that JM has to be “the straw that stirs the drink” on offense. And JM knows that, and has leveraged it to the point where he isn’t coming off the field.
A football watching friend with no ties to Alabama keeps asking me, "Who put him on the field?"

The game plan on both sides of the ball was atrocious.

OU offense did to us what Vandy did…but without really even throwing the ball.

And our offense essentially played the way OU defensive coaches dreamed we would play.

This game was an absolute disaster in every imaginable way.

Next we face a resurgent Auburn team battling for a bowl, whereas we’re playing for almost nothing.

Won’t be surprised if we lose the Iron Bowl and with it a bunch of recruits and lots of players transferring.

Total disaster.

2022 was just for bragging rights. LSU had already won the West and we weren't about to get into the 4 team playoff with 2 loses
In 2022 I think there was some glimmer of hope that season that the CFP committee might select us anyway since we only lost to LSU by 1 and UT by 3. I remember Saban was lobbying hard and some here believed we might have a chance. Ultimately we were #5 on selection Sunday behind Ohio State. This time though there even isn't a glimmer.

Auburn will do the same thing. Hunter will have 200 yards rushing on us next Saturday.
