Early National Signing Day Thread

Roster was actually full 85 this year.

Short answer to this is portal, portal, portal. We are about to hit the ground running there and we will still have til February to add a few prep kids from who ever is left, if we want them.

Long answer is if x number comes in....x number gotta go out: to the NFL gradiation or portal.

I apologize in advance for asking this question but I had read that the rosters were supposed to go from 85 to around 100 but eliminating walkons. Is that true? if so When? and how would we get there aside from giving all the walkons a scholarship

You can now have up to 105 players on scholarship next year so it shouldn't matter how many guys leave.

We honestly don't know whats going on with that. Its tied to the house settlement which is still not official from what i know (maybe someone can clairfy) and every school seems to be using the same approach they have in the past. Meaning most classes are staying around the usual 25 mark. At the moment though business is as usual


Also my answer is the same...portal and late signing window.

I suspect if we ultimately make the playoffs (which it appears we will) that could go a long way in getting kids from the portal. Going to a team that made the playoffs in its first year and great chance to go back.
