BREAKING Milroe declares for draft

Yeah, I get that, but he was coming with CKD...until he wasn't. No doubt Grubb watched film on Milroe to see what he was getting into and probably made a few calls to coaching buddies (they talk to each other a LOT) and probably concluded that "my career path doesn't need this right now".

Who knows?

Remember, Coach BOB wasn't wrong about Milroe and no doubt many others came to that same conclusion.

I guess at this stage it doesn't matter. He ended up in Tuscaloosa regardless of whether he wanted to or not. So I just hope he puts his best effort into it and does not have one eye on the playbook and the other at his next stop.

Yeah, I agree! I think that he will be committed to doing well for CKD.

I recorded the NFL stuff this weekend and watched a fair amount. Spent most of the time on the QBs and TEs.

JM looked about like I thought he would. His arm strength is fine. His accuracy is unpredictable. He threw some good long balls. His timing was slow. He looked like he was chiseled from stone.

I think Jaxson Dart is potentially the steal of the draft and might be the only quarterback in the draft that plays past 5 years.

I would have thought Milroe would have run the 40 to display his speed in front of everyone. The combine is fun to watch and you get a good idea of why some of the teams are in the college football playoffs.

I never thought he would do that at NFL combine. I can see him doing this at pro day.

That's true but it's also fascinating to see guys I've never heard of who are going to be on NFL rosters.

Running skills.....yes, he's fast. Maybe track fast.

These commentators haven't watched anything have they
I've said several times what JM really needs is to do drills like running backs do when they go thru the ropes to get their feet/knees up and moving.

If I was advising him, that's what I would tell him.

That’s probably a skilled position worth attempting although it will have it’s own challenges because WRs need some lateral wiggle when they run.

I would say it might be worth giving him a shot as a KR specialist because he is fast and if a crease opened he could take it to the EZ.
